ABOUT ME

Alyssa Talalai, MS, OTR/L

Born and raised in New Jersey, I was first inspired to work with children by my mother who is a special education teacher.  At the age of 6 I volunteered to read books to each classroom in her school and to assist students to their various therapy sessions. Since then I have been dedicated to serving those with different needs and abilities in all walks of life -- from being a part of an adaptive sports organization, to developing a yoga program for older adults with balance and movement difficulties, and building seating and positioning devices out of cardboard and other materials for children and families in Nicaragua.

With work and volunteer experience in 4 states, 2 countries, and countless organizations I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients and families realize their full potential and meet their goals.
